I first tried Google Chrome when it came out.
As well as the silly EULA (Now Amended by Google) one other bug issue I had with it was it wouldn’t run Java plugins.
I thought it was time to try again, and as if by magic, it is now working.
I don’t know what changed, it may be my machine that I upgrade Java in, or it may be Google’s Chrome.
Either way, it now works.
Now the hunt is on to find an ad-blocker….

Google Release new Web Browser called Chrome

Google are releasing today, a new web browser called Chrome.
A document documenting the concepts and design of the product can be found here, Google Chrome Background, an interesting document in cartoon form.
It will be interesting to see how quickly they can bring it into a main stream product given the dominance of IE and Firefox amongst others. But no doubt, with the google philosophy behind it, the product will be good.
BUT, I will want an ad blocker, if there isn’t one – I can’t see me using it, and I can’t see google building it in in the first place.
There is a lot of information on the web, so I won’t repeat it here.
